Richard R. Ellis, M.D., is a board certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist who currently serves as Director, Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro, San Pedro, California. He is a founding member and serves on the Board of Directors of Pathology, Inc. He has also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pathology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Torrance, California.

Dr. Ellis is active in several local and national pathology societies including the College of American Pathologists where he served on the Hematology and Microscopy Resource Committee and currently serves on the CAP Practice Management Committee. In addition, he holds a position on the Board of Directors of the American Pathology Foundation where he previously held the position of President. Dr. Ellis was awarded the American Pathologist of Year award by the APF in 2002. He has several publications and presentations in his area of interests in hematopathology, parasitology, drug testing, evolutionary medicine, and medical history.

He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency in pathology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Torrance, California. In addition, he served a fellowship in hematopathology under Dr. Robert Lukes at the University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.

Jenny Rivera Galloway, M.D., is a board certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist. She also holds a board certification in Hematology. She received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, California. She served her residency in pathology at the Oregon Health Sciences University along with fellowships in surgical pathology at the University of California San Diego and a fellowship in Hematopathology at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California.

She has served as a staff pathologist at hospitals in Southern California and as Medical Director/CEO of a National Testing Lab for the American Red Cross in San Diego, California.

In addition Dr. Galloway is an author, speaker, and researcher.

Eric F. Glassy, M.D., is a board certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist. He has served as Laboratory Director for several Southern California hospitals and has served in key leadership roles for hospital staff and foundation committees. Dr. Glassy also served as an information systems and new media consultant to Cedars- Sinai Medical Center. He currently serves as a Medical Director at Pathology, Inc.

Dr. Glassy is active in several national pathology societies including the College of American Pathologists where he has served or serves in various leadership and member positions on the Hematology Resource Committee, Publications Committee, Education Committee, and Council on Membership and Professional Development. He was recently honored by CAP with the Pathologists’ Distinguished Service Award and is also a member of the CAP Foundation. Dr. Glassy also serves on the Board of Directors of the Digital Pathology Association.

He is a well-known lecturer and has authored several publications in his fields of interest. He has also edited and illustrated the CAP Color Atlas of Hematology, Color Atlas of Body Fluids and was the designer and illustrator of the Color Atlas of Hemoglobinopathies. He is the developer of a variety of software programs for pathology and holds a green belt in Six-Sigma.

He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, California. He served his pathology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he also served a fellowship in hematopathology.

James B. Harris, M.D. is a board certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist. He also holds a board certification in Hematopathology. He received his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Mobile, Alabama. He completed his pathology residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Portland, Oregon. He served a hematopathology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina and a surgical pathology fellowship at Los Angeles County University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California. In addition, he served a lymph node elective with Dr. Peter Banks at the Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Harris served as Director of Anatomic Pathology for Glendale Pathology Associates, Glendale, California. He also served in the Immunohistochemistry Consult Service with The Kaiser Permanente Medical Group, Inc., San Francisco, California and recently served as hematopathologist and Director of Immunohistochemistry for Quest Diagnostics, West Hills, California. He has extensive experience in flow cytometry, including technical only flow, immunohistochemistry and image analysis.

Dr. Harris is a member of several pathology organizations including the College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, Society of Hematopathology, and the Clinical Cytometry Society.

Russell K Brynes, M.D. is a board certified clinical and anatomic pathologist. He also holds board certification in Hematopathology. He currently serves as Director, Special Hematology Laboratory, Co-Director, Core Chemistry-Hematology Laboratory and Director, Department of Hematopathology Fellowship Program at Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles, California.

He received his medical degree from Tufts University of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. He served a clinical and hematopathology residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served an anatomic residency and hematopathology fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics, Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Brynes is a well known hematopathology researcher, lecturer, and author with over 200 publications. In addition, he is a well-respected teacher of hematopathology, has served on hematopathology committees with numerous pathology and oncology societies, and has served on editorial boards of peer review publications. He has been listed in The Best Doctors in America and in the Guide to America’s Top Physicians.
