Overview:
As an Account Manger with Pathology, Inc you will be responsible for retaining 100% of an assigned book of business (client’s that send specimens to Pathology, Inc). Your primary responsibility would be to retain Pathology, Inc’s clients that are assigned to you by building trust and relationships with the clients and ensure that they are happy with the level of service they are receiving from Pathology, Inc. This is accomplished by making yourself available to clients throughout the business day, carefully documenting all their concerns/issues and resolving those issues quickly (within 24 hour time frame).
With the strongest brand in Women’s health and a comprehensive menu in anatomic pathology which covers all sub-specialties, your focus will be retaining Pathology, Inc’s services to Ob/Gyn’s, Family Practitioners, Internists, Gastroenterologists, Urologists and Dermatologists.

Other additional expectations are as follows:

Prospect accounts in your book of business to identify opportunities to “upsell” them on specimens going to other laboratories or new testing performed by Pathology, Inc
- Build relationships within the accounts (M.A.’s, Office Managers, Director of Nursing, Physicians, etc.) and earn their trust and respect by always solving their issues quickly
- Partner with Senior Account Executive and Director of Sales to make sure all of our accounts are retained and competitive threats are suppressed
- “Own” your book of business and ensure existing clients are set up properly and taken care of to ensure retention of the new business
- Complete administrative paperwork daily in order to ensure the connection between the client nd the laboratory is fluid and that there are no gaps in service
- Retain 100% of your book of business each month
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, treat others with mutual respect, thrive on competition, be professional and have fun!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 -3 Years of AP or Clinical Laboratory experience
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word) and remote communication skills (i.e. smart phone)
- Excellent planning, presentation, written and oral communications skills
- Valid driver’s license
