Cystic Fibrosis Carrier Screen
- Specimen Type: 5mL Whole Blood EDTA or ACD. Please use a dedicated tube of blood for CF testing. Transport at ambient temperature. If delayed more than 24 hours, store and transport refrigerated. Do not freeze specimens.
- Stability: Stable up to 7 days if refrigerated.
- Min Volume: 3mL Whole Blood EDTA or ACD
- Testing performed on which days: Tues, Thurs; 3-5 days turnaround time.
