SpiraBrush CX, the FDA-cleared* alternative to punch forceps for cervical biopsy specimens*
Pathology, Inc.’s outstanding cervical biopsy testing begins with the SpiraBrush CX. The SpiraBrush CX biopsy brush is an FDA-cleared cervical biopsy device designed to be used in most cervical biopsy procedures in place of the traditional punch or forceps cervical biopsy instrument. The unique, stiff-bristled, spiral-shaped design of the SpiraBrush CX makes possible the removal of a full layer of squamous epithelium1,2 of the cervix with minimal trauma to the patient and less bleeding. Diagnostic accuracy of SpiraBrush CX has been evaluated using LEEP1 as the gold standard with the resulting correlation being compared to that of the punch biopsy.Pathology, Inc.—experience and excellence in SpiraBrush CX® Testing

Indications
- Obtaining a biopsy of suspicious areas or visible exocervical lesions for the purpose of obtaining a tissue diapnosis during colposcopic examination
