B.S. / B.A. in Systems/Network Administration, Computer Science (or similar computer science related education) and/or three years experience required.
Overview
This positions has primary responsibility of providing support to all aspects of the IT department including infrastructure/networking, client connectivity, vendor relations, 2nd level technical support and off-site and remote locations support.
Ability to prepare briefing materials and other documents, process ticket requests from end-users for client connectivity by initiating communication with appropriate vendors and persons responsible. Support and maintain VLAN Networked environment, support Windows/Mac based servers and workstations, applications, VOIP phone system, Mobile phones, Tablets, Network Printers, the Laboratory Information System & more.
Experience with Cisco Switches, setting up and installing VPN appliance and software, administering Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, and SharePoint desirable as well as Java/JavaScript Programming or any Windows Scripting Programming Language.
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a motivated self-starter with excellent and well founded, written and verbal communication skills.
CA driver’s license for work related travel and knowledge of healthcare industry highly preferred.
